Description

Circa 1800. 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical house of rectangular plan. Harl-pointed random rubble walls with stugged and droved ashlar margins. Margined door and windows. Entrance door centred at ground with flanking windows, regular fenestration at 1st floor. N gable; single window to left at 1st floor. E (rear) elevation; 2 ground floor windows grouped at centre, narrow at left and to centre above.

Modern glazing, purple-grey slate roof, stugged sandstone apex stacks, coped with circular cans, cement-rendered skew copes.

BOUNDARY WALLS: cement-rendered and lined wall to Commercial Street, surmounted by concrete cope and plain wrought-iron railing with matching gate at right. High random rubble concrete-coped garden walls, with stugged and droved dressings, extending to W.
