Description
Olaf View is a possibly 18th century, single storey and attic, 3-bay house located at the west end of a short terrace on Main Street in Scalloway. The building features painted rubble walls.
The south elevation is symmetrical with three bays. The former doorway in the center has been converted into a window, with single windows in the flanking bays. Gabled dormerheads break the eaves above.
The west elevation has a blank gable, while the north elevation includes a lean-to addition.
The interior was not seen in 2000. The house has modern timber windows and a purple-grey slate roof, with decorative bargeboards on the dormers, substantial gablehead, and mutual stacks.
