Description

Trellis Cottage is an 18th-century house situated at the end of a row on the west side of North Road, West Looe. The house is constructed of painted rubble with timber lintels, and has a steep roof covered in asbestos slates. Two gabled dormers break the eaves. The plan is shallow-depth, and the house is three storeys tall, with the second floor partially within the roof space. It has a slightly irregular two-window range. The windows are 20th-century 16-pane 2-light casements. A doorway with a 20th-century gabled hood on brackets is positioned to the right of centre, leading to an early 19th-century 4-pane door with flush beaded panels.
