Description

Darloe is a detached house dating from the late 18th century, situated on Fore Street in West Looe. The exterior is rendered over probable rubble stonework, topped by a steep, dry slate hipped roof. It features tall rendered brick stacks, two at each end of the roof and two on the rear lateral side. The house is designed on a double-depth plan, and presents a symmetrical three-window facade with a central doorway. The windows are 20th-century replacements. The central doorway is round-arched, containing a six-panel door and a spoked fanlight. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of interest.
