Description

A pair of cottages dating from the 18th century are located on North Road in West Looe. The cottages were constructed with painted rubble walls and timber lintels, with a slurried slate roof on the right-hand cottage (number 2) and asbestos slate on the left. A rendered brick end stack is present on the right. The cottages share a single-depth, mirror-image plan. They are two storeys high with a three-window front. The windows are 20th-century 16-pane 2-light casements. A central pair of doorways is sheltered by a slate hood supported by wooden brackets, and feature 20th-century glazed and panelled split doors. The interior has not been inspected.
