Description

Rose Cottage is a small house, likely built in the 18th century. It features painted rubble with oak lintels and has a rendered first floor at the front. The roof is made of asbestos slate, and there is a large external rubble stack on the right-hand gable. The house has a one-room plan that was extended at the rear in the 20th century. It stands two storeys high and has a one-window range. The windows are from the 20th century and include a wide three-light casement in the centre of the first floor, a two-light casement below it, right of centre, and a blocked doorway with an oak lintel on the left. There is also a small two-light casement on the right-hand return at ground floor level. The interior has not been inspected.
