Description

No. 3 Church Street is an 18th-century house located in a row of buildings in West Looe. The front is made of rendered rubble, and it has a steep dry slate roof with a 20th-century raking dormer on the left side. The house has a shallow-depth plan and an extension at the rear. It stands two storeys plus an attic and features a regular two-window arrangement. The first floor has 20th-century 16-pane two-light casements, while the ground floor on the left has an early 19th-century 16-pane hornless sash window. There is a passage leading to the doorway and rear on the right side, and a gable window is located on the right-hand return. Inside, there may be original oak joists visible in the passage, although the interior has not been fully inspected.
