Description

No. 4 New Road is an 18th-century house located in Ilminster. The front of the building is rendered, while the rest is made of limestone rubble, topped with a slate roof that features stepped stone copings and a brick stack on the left gable end. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. All windows are 20th-century casements with glazing bars, with three lights on the ground-floor left and two lights on all other windows. A 20th-century planked door is situated to the right of the center. The interior has not been inspected.
