Description

No. 60 High Street is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of rendered coursed limestone rubble with dressings, featuring brick gable stacks and a stone slate roof. The building has a two-room plan that runs parallel to the street and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. The front is symmetrical, with quoins and a plinth that are left exposed behind 20th-century render. The doorway has a 20th-century canopy and a half-glazed door, while the windows are horned 2/2-pane sashes. The rear windows have timber lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
