Description
66 High Street is a pair of houses that have been combined into one, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The building is constructed from limestone rubble, featuring brick gable stacks on the right side and a 20th-century reconstituted slate roof that steps up to the left-hand house. It has a single-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with a three-window range. The right-hand section, which may date from the late 18th century, has a blocked door on the right side. The left-hand section includes a right-hand doorway with a half-glazed door and a 20-pane window on the ground floor. The first floor has horned sash windows with margin panes, and there are two ground-floor windows in the left-hand section along with a single half dormer above. The interior has not been inspected.
