Description
No. 30 High Street is an 18th-century house built from regularly coursed limestone with a slate roof. It originally had a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic. The front features a three-window range of 19th-century casements set under wooden lintels. There are two 20th-century doors located between the windows. The house has ashlar gable parapets and kneelers, along with stone stacks that have ashlar bases at both ends. The left gable, which faces the road, includes two 19th-century casements under wooden lintels and a blocked two-light stone mullion window in the attic. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have remnants of an open fireplace with a bressumer and a ceiling beam.
