Description

Verbena is an early 19th-century house situated on a corner site in Church Street, West Looe. The house is constructed of rubble with red brick segmental arches over openings, and has an asbestos slate roof. It has a small plan with its gable end facing West Looe Square. Verbena is three storeys high, the second floor partly being within the roof space, and has a single-window range. A central second-floor window breaks through the gable, while ground and first-floor windows are left of the centre, with a doorway on the right. It features 20th-century sash windows with glazing bars, and a 20th-century door with a glazed top opening. The interior has not been inspected.
