Description
Starlings is an early 19th-century small house located on the west side of London Road. It features a plaster front and is likely timber-framed. The building has two storeys and a low-pitched hipped slate roof with an eaves overhang. A central red brick chimney is present.
The façade includes two 6/6 sash windows with flush boxes and moulded architraves, positioned above a canted bay window and the front door. The flat-topped bay has 21/21 paned sashes, which are flanked by 9/9 side lights. The front door is a six-panel design, with the upper four panels being glazed, and it is framed by a reeded architrave with corner blocks. A flat hood supported by shaped brackets covers the door.
The property is enclosed by a high stuccoed wall with four square gate piers. There is a modern flat-roofed garage located on the south side of the house.
