Description

1 and 2 Bassett's Court are a pair of small houses built in the late 18th century. They feature painted rubble walls and segmental brick arches, which likely replaced original wooden lintels on the ground floor openings. The houses have a steep dry slate roof and a central rendered axial stack. The plan is shallow-depth, and the buildings are two storeys high with a symmetrical two-window front. The doorways are located at the far right and left, with the first-floor windows positioned closer together than the doorways. The windows and doors have been replaced in the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
