Description
28 Market Square in Duns is an early 19th-century, three-storey, two-bay shop that previously had a flat above. The building is cement rendered with painted ashlar dressings. The shopfront features three bays with fluted pilasters and a cornice at the ground level, which includes a modern door in the center flanked by large plate glass windows. The upper floors have windows in each bay, with the first-floor windows adorned with moulded architraves and a cornice. The building has four-pane timber sash and case windows, a grey slate roof, ashlar coped skews, and a brick stack.
