Description
16 Market Square in Duns is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys high with an attic and features a symmetrical three-bay shop that previously had a flat above. The exterior is rendered, showcasing regular window arrangements and cavetto moulded eaves. The central ground floor door is flanked by plate glass shop windows. At the top, there are two gabled timber dormers with glazed side panels. The rear elevation is not visible. The building has timber sash and case windows, consisting of 12-pane and 4-pane designs. It is topped with grey slates and has brick chimney stacks.
