Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey and attic inn on corner site. Harled

and painted white with cement base course as bull-faced ashlar. Corner chamfered at base. Cill course at 1st floor (bearing name); cavetto moulded eaves; regular fenestration. Gabled timber dormers with glazed side panels.

S ELEVATION: 4-bay; right and centre left bays with cellar doors in base course. Pair of dormers.

W ELEVATION: 2-bay; modern door to left bay at ground; enlarged window to right. Single dormer.

E (REAR) ELEVATION: projecting gable to left with door at ground and window in gablehead; 3 bays to right with door to left and centre window at ground blocked; single dormer. 4-pane timber sash and case windows (lower panes etched at ground). Pitched roof, piended at corner; grey slates; brick stacks.

INTERIOR: much altered.
