Description
The Priory, located at 33 and 35 Woodmarket in Kelso, is an early 19th century building that stands three storeys tall and features a three-bay façade with a central door. The door is framed by a moulded architrave and a triglyph frieze. The windows maintain their original 12-pane double sash glazing. The front of the building is constructed from droved ashlar stone, with raised angle quoins and a cill-course at the first floor. It has a moulded cornice and a blocking course, with straight skews and a slated roof that includes brick end stacks. The flanks of the building are harled, and there is a three-storey wing at the rear.
