Description
Crookside, located in Johnshill, Lochwinnoch, is an earlier 19th-century building that stands two storeys high and features three bays. The exterior is made of painted coursed rubble with margins. Steps lead up to a central door, which has a decorative fanlight and is framed by a lugged architrave with a dentilled cornice above. The windows are 12-pane sashes. The building has an eaves course and cornice, with straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof. There is also a door in a low lean-to porch on the right side. At the rear, there are some brick extensions and a stair tower.
