Description

Runcie, located on Buccleuch Street in Melrose, is an earlier 19th century building. It is two storeys high and has three bays, constructed from coursed squared rubble with droved dressings. The central door features a cornice and a blocking course above it. The windows still have their original 12-pane double sash glazing. The building has straight skews and rectangular coped end stacks, topped with a slated roof.
