Description
42 High Street in Lochwinnoch is a late 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall. It is constructed of painted squared rubble with margins. The building features an off-centre pilastered doorpiece, although there is a blocked doorway. On the ground floor, there are three windows, one of which has 12-pane sashes, while the other two have been enlarged. The first floor has four sash windows. A band course runs above the ground floor, and there is an eaves course. The building has a central wall head stack set on a shouldered plinth, with straight skews and end stacks, topped by a slate roof.
