Description
19 Johnshill in Lochwinnoch is a late 18th century, two-storey house with an attic and a raised ground floor. In 1825, the house was extended to the north by two bays. The exterior is harled with painted margins. The entrance door is accessed by two flights of steps that feature an iron handrail. There are four irregularly placed windows with modern glazing on the ground and first floors. The building has an eaves course, and the door along with a segmental-headed carriage entrance is located in the extension. The first floor features a bipartite window with a mullion inscribed with the initials J B and a date. The house has straight skews with scrolled skewputts, end stacks, and a slate roof.
