Description

Dated 1729 on lintel. South west gable and single bay

fragment of former church, probably cut down after new church

completed, ie 1808. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings.

Original door in gable flanked by blocked small window

openings, paired round-headed blocked windows above under

relieving arch: clock at apex with crowning corbelled

birdcage bellcote, and ball-finialed bell-cast roof.

Crow-stepped gable. Apex stack on north east gable: slate

roof. Enclosed by cemetery wall with ball-finialed, corniced

square gatepiers and cast-iron gates with arrow-head rails.
