Description
The Old Parish Church of St. Deavanach in Methlick dates back to 1780 and was likely repaired internally in 1840. The church is currently roofless and has a rectangular plan constructed from split boulder rubble with cherry cocking.
On the west gable, there is a simple bellcote. The front features a single arched window and an arched doorpiece with a keystone below. There are two large arched windows flanked by two smaller arched windows, all with keystones, and a stairway on the east side of the south flank. The north wall is blind. The church also houses a bell made by Mears from 1827/8.
