Description

Ivy Cottage in Methlick Village was built in 1875 by William Clark as a female school. The building is designed in a cottage style reminiscent of the Smiths' work from 20 years earlier. It is a single-storey structure with harled walls and granite dressings and margins. The southeast section features a single storey and an attic, with a central doorpiece supported by consoles, creating an advanced gable feature.
