Description

36 and 38 Woodmarket in Kelso is a mid-19th century, three-storey building that consists of two houses arranged in a four-bay block. The ground floor features a continuous pilastrade with a bracketed cornice, and the entrance doors are paired at the center, flanked by shops. The upper floors are constructed of coursed squared rubble with raised polished ashlar margins around the windows and at the angles. The building has a block eaves course, straight skews, and a slated roof.
