Description

40 and 42 Woodmarket in Kelso is an early 19th-century building that stands three stories tall and has three bays on the ground floor, which has been altered for use as shops. The exterior is made of painted rubble with contrasting margins around the windows. There is a cill-course at the first floor, and the upper floors still feature their original 12-pane double-sash glazing. The roof is slated.
