Description
74 Castlegate in Jedburgh is an earlier 19th century terraced cottage, likely incorporating some earlier materials. It is two stories high and has two bays, which are irregularly arranged to the left. The upper floor is positioned under the eaves. On the left side, there is a 1930s door featuring a glazed six-pane panel. The cottage has four-pane timber sash and case windows, a mutual ashlar skew, a brick chimney stack, and is covered with grey slates.
