Description
76 Castlegate in Jedburgh is a reworked end of terrace house from the mid to late 19th century. It is two stories high and features three bays that are grouped towards the center. The house is constructed from snecked and stugged cream ashlar. The central entrance has a boarded door with a letterbox fanlight above it, flanked by windows on either side, with additional windows in each bay on the first floor. The south gable end is blank.
The house has 8-pane timber sash and case windows, although the bottom left window has been unfortunately replaced. The ashlar skews, brick stacks, and grey slate roof complete the exterior.
