Description
30 Newtown Street in Duns is an earlier 19th century, symmetrical, two-storey and attic, three-bay end of terrace house. The exterior is rendered, lined to resemble ashlar, and painted. It features a central panelled door with a letterbox fanlight and regular window arrangements. There are two piend-roofed dormers with glazed sides and a blank harled end gable.
The house has 8-pane timber sash and case windows, with 4-pane windows in the dormers. The roof has ashlar coped skews and is covered with grey slates. There is a rebuilt brick stack at the end gable and a rendered old brick mutual stack.
