Description
Greengarth is a mid to late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay house that is part of an irregular terrace. The building is rendered and features raised concrete cills and a concrete base course.
On the west elevation, which serves as the entrance, there is a doorway at the center with a modern panelled door and a letterbox fanlight above it. A single window is located on the first floor directly above the door. The ground and first floors on the left and right sides have bipartite windows with timber mullions.
The east elevation, or rear, includes a flat-roofed garage that adjoins the house and a flat-roofed addition at the first floor. The windows are plate glass sash and case. The roof is covered with grey slate and shares a roofline with the neighbouring Montrose Cottage, featuring brick mutual stacks.
