Description
Greystone House is a mid to later 18th century, 2-storey, 3-bay house that was originally built as a 2-bay structure and is part of a terrace. The exterior features white harling with painted stone margins and a battered base course.
On the west (entrance) elevation, the bays are widely spaced. The doorway is located in the second bay and is flanked to the left by a single window. The door is boarded. There is a single window at the ground level in the outer right bay, and above it, a bipartite window with a timber mullion at the first floor. The outer left bay also has a single window.
The windows are plate glass sash and case. The roof is covered with grey slate and features a broad harled stack with a thackstane to the north, a brick stack to the south, and brick mutual gableheads.
