Cheviot View, Auchencrow

Cheviot View in Auchencrow is possibly part of an 18th-century building with later additions and alterations. It consists of a central two-storey, two-bay block flanked by single-storey blocks, with a four-bay block on the left and a three-bay block on the right. The exterior is harled.

On the south elevation, the central block features a boarded timber door on the right side at ground level, with a single window above it on the first floor. There are also single windows on both floors to the left. The single-storey block on the left has a boarded timber door on the outer left, a single window to the right, and two small windows in the remaining bays. The single-storey block on the right has single windows in all three bays.

The north elevation shows the central block with single windows on both floors, offset to the right of center. The single-storey block to the right has a single window on the outer right and a small window to the left. The single-storey block to the left has a single window offset to the left of center.

The building predominantly features four-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows. The central block has a pantiled roof, while the flanking blocks have slate roofs with stone-coped skews. There are brick-built apex stacks on the west central block and the east block, with circular cans.

The interior was not seen in 1999.
