The Craw Inn, Auchencrow

The Craw Inn in Auchencrow is an early 19th-century building that has undergone later additions and alterations. It features an asymmetrical two-storey layout, with a three-bay block on the right and a two-bay block on the left, along with a single-storey range on the outer left and various additions at the rear. The principal block is finished in painted harl, while the remainder has painted render and painted margins throughout.

On the south elevation, the principal block on the right has a later brick flat-roofed porch that projects at the center, with steps leading to the door. There are single windows flanking the door at ground level, and single windows in all bays on the first floor. The two-bay block to the left features a boarded timber door on the ground floor to the right, with a single window to the left and a bipartite window above. The single-storey block to the left has a single window offset to the right of center. Additionally, there is a single-storey, two-bay range on the outer left with two-leaf, boarded timber garage doors in both bays.

The windows are fitted with plate glass and four-pane glazing in timber sash and case frames. The roofs are covered with grey slate, featuring stone-coped skews, while the single-storey range has a corrugated-iron roof. There are corniced, brick-built ridge and apex stacks, along with a single circular chimney.

The interior was not seen in 1999.
