Description

Earlier 19th century. Irregular-plan, 5-sided walled garden (approximately 3,000m?). Tall, coped walls (swept in part) with harl-pointed, tooled cream sandstone rubble to outer elevations; part coursed and tooled cream sandstone, part tooled cream sandstone rubble to inner linings (red brick lining to E wall). Boarded timber doors. Lean-to conservatory set in NE corner with part glazed, part corrugated-iron roof. Lean-to former potting shed (?) adjoining outer elevation to E. Separate single storey, rectangular-plan, brick-built ancillary structure to NE.
