Description
Dean Cottage, located on The Crescent in Town Yetholm, is a late 18th century, two-storey house that has undergone later alterations. It features a symmetrical three-bay design and is part of an irregular terrace. The street-facing elevation is constructed with bull-faced concrete blockwork.
On the entrance elevation, there is a centrally located doorway with a boarded door, and a single window above it on the first floor. The ground floor has bipartite windows in the outer left and right bays, while the first floor has single windows above. The windows are plate glass sash and case. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there are coped and rendered mutual stacks, along with brick coping on the mutual gable wall.
