Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey and attic 3-bay L-plan house with shop at ground. Harl-pointed sandstone with ashlar dressings. Tuscan Doric pilastered doorpiece at centre with corresponding pilastered 3-bay shopfront to right; unified cornice; shop with panelled and glazed door and 2-pane rectangular fanlight flanked by large plate glass shop windows. Windows to left and upper bays.

Pair of piend-roofed canted timber dormers. Blank harled gable to E.

Irregular rear elevation with projecting 2-bay range to right

(adjoining former tannery).

Timber sash and case 12-pane windows; plate glass to dormers. Grey slates; ashlar coped skews; brick apex stacks.
