Twizel House & Outbuildings, The Crescent, Town Yetholm

Twizel House and its outbuildings, located on The Crescent in Town Yetholm, date back to the mid-19th century. This two-storey, three-bay house sits at the end of an irregular terrace and is constructed from whinstone rubble, featuring contrasting stugged sandstone ashlar on the main eastern elevation. The openings have raised surrounds, and the corners are accentuated with long and short quoins.

On the eastern entrance elevation, there is a centrally located doorway with a boarded door and a letterbox fanlight above it, along with a single window positioned above the door. The outer left and right bays each contain single windows on both floors.

The northern elevation features an M-gabled roof, with a recessed bay on the right side and a stair window. The windows throughout the house are 4-pane sash and case style. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there are brick stacks at the gable ends. At the rear, there is a piend-roofed former stable that serves as an outbuilding.
