Description
Hill View is a pair of terraced houses from the late 18th century, consisting of three bays each, and forming part of a longer irregular terrace. The houses are rendered and feature white painted timber lintels, with a battered base course and modern hardwood panelled doors.
On the east elevation, the house on the left has a doorway in the second bay, with a window above it at the first floor. There are also windows at the ground and first floors, along with a small window under the eaves in the first and third bays from the left. The house on the right has a doorway in the first bay, with windows at both the ground and first floors, and small windows under the eaves in the second bay, as well as a window at the ground level in the third bay.
The south elevation is mostly blank, except for a small stone block positioned above the first floor level at the outer right. There is a single-storey structure with a pitched corrugated iron roof attached to the outer left.
Both houses feature 12-pane sash and case windows, a grey slate roof, and a harled gablehead stack to the south, along with a broad brick gablehead stack to the north and a broad harled ridge stack. The outbuildings include one with a steeply pitched grey slate roof to the northwest and another single-storey outbuilding to the west with a corrugated iron roof.
