Description

A pair of early 19th-century houses forming a terrace, located on Whistley Hill in Ashburton. The houses have solid roughcast walls and a slate roof, with a hipped roof to the left-hand side. A substantial rendered chimney stands along the centre of the ridge. The buildings are arranged over two storeys. Each house has a doorway at either end of the front facade, with a window positioned above each doorway. The doors are flush-panelled and have glazed upper portions. The windows are narrow and contain 6-paned sashes. The front is finished with a boxed eaves-cornice. The rear wall appears to have additional windows, including one with an 8-paned sash.
