Description
Nos. 1A and 2B are a terrace of two houses dating from the early 19th century, located on Whistley Hill and backing onto Queen's Square. The houses feature solid roughcast walls and a slated roof, with four large rendered chimneys visible from the front. The best elevation, facing Queen's Square, has six windows and predominantly wooden casement windows. The front facing Whistley Hill is similar but has fewer windows. Both fronts have a deep boxed eaves-cornice and patterned bargeboards on the right gable end. At the right-hand end, there is a small wedge-shaped garden enclosed by an iron railing topped with ornate finials.
