Description

5 and 7 Queen's Square are a pair of early to mid 19th century houses. They are three storeys tall and constructed from squared coursed rubble with a slate roof and two chimneys. The buildings feature chamfered rusticated quoins and a sill band at the first floor. Each house has two windows with plain stone surrounds, and the windows are sashed with all glazing bars, except for the second floor of No 7. The doorways are centrally located and also have plain stone surrounds. The doors consist of four raised and fielded panels, with the top two panels glazed, although they have been painted over.
