Description

This is a mid-19th century building on Market Street. It is three storeys high and constructed of rubble, which has been rendered (covered with a smooth finish) on the street-facing side. The roof is slate-covered, and there is one chimney. The front of the building has two sash windows on each floor, each with simple stone surrounds and sills. The doorway has a plain stone surround, and the door is a modern design with eight panels. The building is included on the heritage list primarily for its contribution to the character of the surrounding buildings.
