4 Bowmont Terrace, Town Yetholm

4 Bowmont Terrace is a mid-19th century, two-storey, three-bay house that is part of an irregular terrace. The building is constructed from squared and snecked whinstone with sandstone dressings, featuring long and short quoins and margins.

The entrance elevation has a central doorway with a bracketed cornice above, a panelled door, and a letterbox fanlight. There is a window above the door on the first floor. The outer bays on the ground floor have bipartite windows, while the first floor features single windows.

The windows are plate glass sash and case types, with two-pane upper panels on the ground floor and four-pane sash and case windows on the first floor. The roof is covered with grey slate, and the gables are coped with ashlar stone. There are corniced brick stacks on the roof.

At the rear, there is a row of former stables and cartsheds that back onto the lane.
