Description
The lodge at Seaside House in Errol dates from the early 19th century. It is a single-storey, four-bay structure with a piend roof and features a gothic-arched doorway. The building is constructed from snecked rubble with ashlar dressings.
On the west elevation, there are advanced piended bays to the right, which include a part-glazed timber door at the center and windows in the flanking bays, with an additional window in a recessed bay to the outer left. The south elevation has a blank bay to the left and a window in a low advanced bay on the right, along with another window on the return to the left.
The east elevation consists of four bays, featuring a door to the left and two windows to the right, with a recessed harled bay to the outer right. The windows have plate glass glazing in horizontally sliding sash and case style. The roof is covered with graded grey slates, and there is a coped ashlar stack with cans.
Additionally, there is an ancillary building that is brick-built, rectangular in plan, and has a piend roof, also covered with slates.
