Description
The lodge at Stenhouse, dating from the mid-19th century, is a single-storey building with a symmetrical three-bay design. It features a Gothic style, constructed from painted rubble with ashlar dressings. The east elevation includes hood-moulded openings and a shallow gabled central porch. The doorway is Tudor-arched, and there are bipartite windows in the outer bays with chamfered reveals, along with a similar window on the south wall. The building has chamfered angles and a piended slate roof made of graded slates, topped with a central axial stack that has two diamond flues.
