Description

Hallyards House in Alyth is an early 18th century small T-plan mansion, built in 1731, although the stone marking this date is no longer in its original position. The building is two stories high with an attic, harled exterior, and features a five-window front, a central wall-head chimney, and a steeply pitched roof. The window arrangement has not been altered, and there is a central porch with a tripartite window. Some alterations were made in the early 19th century. Additionally, the stable wing has a lintel dated 1698.
