Description

The Dovecot at Balendoch House is likely from the early 19th century. It has a square plan and is constructed of whitewashed rubble with a piended slate roof. The ground floor serves as a storehouse, while the first floor was originally a doocot, although there are no remaining nestings. The structure was re-categorised from grade B to grade C(S) in 2006, reflecting its group interest. The listing applies to both the interior and exterior of the building, as is appropriate for this type of structure.
