Description

The Barn, also known as Kirk House Barn, is likely from the late 18th century. It is a single-storey structure with a loft, built from rubble. The building features a gabled stone-slated roof and has a low lean-to extension on one side that sweeps into the main roof. There are no skews present. An early sculptured stone, which is incised with a cross and possibly a sword, has been re-used horizontally as a door lintel.
