Description
The Arch Deaconry, also known as The Archdeacon of St David's House, is an early 19th-century building constructed of rubble stone, which was likely originally roughcast. It is two stories high and features a three-window facade, topped with a low-pitched hipped roof covered in slate and fitted with 20th-century black brick chimney stacks. The windows are 12-pane sashes with slate sills and rough stone voussoirs. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door, four of which are glazed, and is adorned with a traceried overlight, also featuring similar stone voussoirs above. The southwest side of the building is clad in mid-20th-century cedar shingles. Inside, there is a boxed-in stair and some panelled doors.
